A pump consists of a DC motor connected to a small pipe. It has an input and output nozzle to connect with plastic tubing. The pump can be used to pump air or liquids. The DC motor on a pump requires 12v and should therefore be powered separately. It can be controlled from the Arduino using a transistor and diode to avoid blowback.
