Feminist Technoscience Film Club

February 28 @ 16:00 - 19:00

The film club is hosted by PhD student Anna Brynskov from Digital Design, in collaboration with ETHOS Lab and AIR Lab.

Teaching and Activities

This spring, Feminist Technoscience Film Club will host three film screenings on the theme ‘bodily relations and machines’. It is open to anyone, but make sure to book a (free) ticket if you plan to come. On the February 28th, we open the Feminist Technoscience Film Club with the feature film TEKNOLUST!

Teknolust (2002) is an aesthetically pleasing sci-fi comedy about three cyborg women and their creator, the bio-geneticist Rosetta Stone – all four played by Tilda Swinton. The film fluctuates in and out of the four women’s intimate relations – life-sustainingly necessary ones and those just for pleasure. The three cyborgs carry a digital virus which starts to spread to humans, so Rosetta’s scientific work and personal life starts getting complicated.

WHAT: Screening of Teknolust followed by discussion
WHERE: The screening will take place in AIR Lab at IT University of Copenhagen.
WHEN: February 28, 16-18:00.

Bring your cozy + curious mood, and we shall discuss the film after watching it together. ☁️🎞️👽
